Last night we exchanged Valentine's Day cards, since Wednesday evenings are so busy - Roy works until 8, and the kids and I are at church until 8:15. Lily's card said "From your little girl", which she usually doesn't like b/c she's a BIG girl, but she told Daddy she'd be his little girl.
I was telling Aaron that when he was a baby he had a cute little butt, just like his daddy. Lily pipes up, "Daddy's butt is NOT cute!"
This morning I stayed home with Lily since she still had a fever yesterday, and our sitter's daughter is also sick. She had a scary dream and slept with us most of the night. She and I slept in until 8 am. When she opened her eyes she said, "You're the best mommy ever." How's that for a good morning?!
